Repair Patches

If you've a hole or two in your gear, consider adding some adhesive patches to your rep kit. These heavy-duty patches feature a high-performance adhesive pre-applied to a tough polyurethane back that allows the tear to heal under pressure. Available in clear or color options they offer a long-lasting protection against punctures, moisture, saltwater, sunlight and extreme temperatures.

If your kit isn't stocked with any of the above items, consider including a bag of waterproof Aquaseal wader repair sealant. This glue that is water-tight will adhere to plastics, fabric, metals, and more for permanent repair. It's ideal for repairs to drysuits, and can be applied while on the job. Allow the sealant to cure for up to 12 hours prior to using the repaired equipment.

The essential field fabric kit for backpacks, tents and rainwear made of silicone-impregnated polyester. Includes one Clean Tape repair patch as well as an swatch of sil-nylon.
